We are no longer accepting Alternate Enrollment applications to enroll for the 2021-22 school year. However, we are accepting Open Enrollment applications for the 2022-23 school year. Apply today!

Enrollment at the Northern Ozaukee School District is open to any Wisconsin residents in 4k-12th grade. The only limitation applies to early childhood education or 4K: the child’s resident school district must offer the same type of program and the child must be eligible for that program. Please note: Residents of the Northern Ozaukee School District may enroll at any time throughout the year.

Open Enrollment opens February 7th through April 29th and closes at 4:00 PM. Click here to learn more and apply today!

Nonresident school districts may deny an application if regular or special education space is not available for the pupil; special education or related services are not available; or if the pupil has been referred for a special education evaluation but has not yet been evaluated. Nonresident school districts may also deny an application if the pupil has been expelled during the current or preceding two years for certain violent conduct or if the pupil was habitually truant from the nonresident school district during any semester in the current or previous school year.

You will be notified by June 17th, 2022, if your enrollment request has been denied by your resident school district. If your application is denied, parents may submit an appeal to the Department of Public Instruction no later than 30 days after the notice of denial is postmarked or delivered to the parent, whichever occurs first.

Once your child’s application has been accepted into the Open Enrollment Program, you will be notified by email confirming your enrollment request has been received by the Northern Ozaukee School District by April 29, 2022. Parents whose applications were approved will be notified by June 10, 2022, and must notify the Northern Ozaukee School District of their intent to enroll by June 24th, 2022. Failure to make this notification may result in the child being unable to participate in open enrollment. Additional information will be provided on how to register your child at that time.
